Anaïs-Nour Benlachhab is a French composer and guitarist born in 1996.
First, she graduated in Guitar and Classical Dance at the Conservatoire National de Région de Montpellier, then obtained a Bachelor in Musicology at the Université de Toulouse II Jean Jaurès, and a DEM in Electroacoustic Composition in the class of Bertrand Dubedout at the Conservatoire à Rayonnement Régional de Toulouse.
She also studied improvised music and Jazz in the ensemble of saxophonist Abdu Salim.
In 2022, she obtained a Master's degree in composition with the highest distinction in the class of Wolfgang Heiniger at the Hochschule für Musik Hanns Eisler of Berlin, where she conducted her research on acoustic ecology, specializing in the analysis of sonic landscapes and Soundscapes composition.
She just successfully completed the one year formation training in composition and informatics musical of the IRCAM institut in Paris for the years 2023-2024, leading to numerous new projects.
She developed her passion for transdisciplinary creation, linking different disciplines such as puppetry, choreography and theater mixed with composition.
She is currently pursuing several projects, including a collaboration with Ensemble 2e2m centered around improvisation and the development of an "operanimation" project: composing a pocket opera that incorporates visual animation elements, blending music, imagery, and immersive storytelling.
Anaïs-Nour Benlachhab collaborates with various ensembles and artists, including Ensemble Cairn, the Quasar Quartet, the Berlin-based KNM Ensemble, soloist Whilem Latchoumia, among others. Her creations have been showcased at renowned venues and festivals such as the Philharmonie de Paris, IRCAM, the Berlin Biennale for Electronic Music, the Forum Bypass in Toulouse, the Portuguese festival Música Viva, Grame in Lyon, and the Berlin Querklang/März Musik festival, among others.
