Anaïs-Nour Benlachhab is a French composer and guitarist born in 1996.

 

First, she graduated in Guitar and Classical Dance at the Conservatoire National de Région de Montpellier, then obtained a Bachelor in Musicology at the Université de Toulouse II Jean Jaurès, and a DEM in Electroacoustic Composition in the class of Bertrand Dubedout at the Conservatoire à Rayonnement Régional de Toulouse.

She also studied improvised music and Jazz in the ensemble of saxophonist Abdu Salim.

 

 

In 2022, she obtained a Master's degree in composition with the highest distinction in the class of Wolfgang Heiniger at the Hochschule für Musik Hanns Eisler of Berlin, where she is currently pursuing her artistic and musical research.

 

Beginning of October 2023, she will follow the one year formation training in composition and informatics musical of the Ircam institut in Paris.

She developed her passion for transdisciplinary creation, linking different disciplines such as puppetry, choreography and theatre mixed with composition.

 

During her Master’s degree, she conducts her research and write her thesis on acoustic ecology. She specializes in the analysis of sonic landscapes and Soundscapes composition.

She composes for many projects in collaboration with various cultural institutions and artists, such as: the Cairn ensemble, the Canadian quartet Quasar, Whilem Latchoumia, Bianka Drodzyk, the Berlin ensemble KNM, François Frémeau, Alica Minard and others.
